Summary: It is almost time for the celebration of Nill's 15th birthday at Soren's apartment. It involves a small gathering of friends to unofficially mark the day when the girl turns a year older. Seishirou mentions he has a gift that he wishes to give to her before then. There is also a special request that he seems to have in mind for her... What could it be?

It would be a day for Nill to remember, as she received the fondest wishes from figures from all over the communications network. So many recorded words and text that all portrayed the same message, "Happy birthday, Nill." and sometimes even, "Happy birthday, Nill and Ness."
It was actually the latter that Nill preferred, not wanting to forget the feelings of her friend amidst all the unhappiness that was currently plaguing him. His memories had been affected by Walter, and he was no longer conscious of himself or his actions. But she wasn't about to let that fact get her down, and not in any unfeeling way either. No. Instead, she was going to use the fact that he would be missing his own birthday as a motivation for her to try even harder to truly making a day that she wouldn't forget. With that kind of inspiration, she imagined that she would be able to pass down those feelings more easily to Ness. To show him that he didn't need to experience the actual calendar date in order to be happy and know how much fun it would have been had he seen it with his own two eyes.
With that idea in mind, Nill was already busy trying to make Soren's apartment look presentable before any of her friends decided to drop by. She was putting aged tomes into small stacks, before putting them away in a nearby closet, and dusting off the sparse furniture with a dirty rag. As it stood, Soren was currently in his room, and he looked annoyed on his way in before fussing with the door handle. It wouldn't be until later that the winged girl would realize that he had locked the door, barring the way from outsiders. Though she was expecting someone to drop by her room all the same, and so Nill tried to listen carefully for the sound of a knock at her door as she continued to work. After all, that someone was going to be bringing along an early birthday gift.
