The Musician and the Schemer
Who: Zexion and Demyx
Where: Marshall Street Apartments
When: After Demyx's arrival
Rating: Nothing above PG-13 I would assume...
Summary: Zexion tells Demyx to get off the streets and come find him, where he is resting and attempting to recover. Though not a heart-felt reunion, it's certainly something.
The log:
Dislocated shoulder, multiple lacerations. It had only been a short battle with a Nightmare, but one that ended in disaster. With only his staff and boot knife to aid him, Zexion had narrowly escaped with his life. The creature had even sought to crush him, and by some grace he had been able to stab the thing almost clean through, never looking back at its carcass once he was sure it was dead.
The damage, however, had left him dizzy from blood loss (something no Nobody was used to) and hurting. Thankfully, help had arrived in the form of an officer and Lexaeus, the large man making sure the monster was dead before lifting the schemer into his arms and following Cybil Bennett to a doctor. House had been annoying, but he had helped get him back together, and now he had been spending the first few days resting, hard to breathe and move very well.
Clumsy arm. I won't be doing that again.
He finally got himself out of bed and into his stitched coat, thanks to the Silent Hero, and made his way to the lobby of the apartments to meet Demyx there, leaving his left arm out of the sleeve of his jacket, the sling keeping it uncomfortably against his front. Brushing his bangs into place gently with a hand, he leaned against one of the walls and waited for the Nocturne, almost eager to be sure he was okay.
With those traitors running a muck around here, we'll need all of the loyalty and help we can get, should they try a stunt like kidnapping a doctor once more.
