[Complete]
Who: Zelda and Link
Where: The School
When: After this conversation
Rating: PG. Just some emo-ing.
Summary: Link feels guilty about being angry with Zelda, and after delaying the inevitable, decides it's time they talk in person.
The log:
Link still remembered the way to the school, despite having avoided it like the plague. He hadn't stepped this close to the building since he had discovered Sheik's true identity. He had been angry then. Angrier than he could ever remember himself being. The frustration of being the only forest child without a fairy was nothing compared to it. Slowly, in his relative isolation, self reflection had brought him to the conclusion that he had been foolish. But by then, he had figured it was too late to ask for forgiveness.
Under Moa's insistence, and the network's refusal to allow him to wallow in peace, the inevitable could not be delayed any longer. Link entered the school, stepping into the building soundlessly. His heart was beating rapidly; he could feel it pounding in his ears as he retraced his steps from months ago. Link could only guess that Zelda was in the same room she had been in the last time he had visited.
Link took a deep breath to steady himself and his nerves before he rapped on the door. The strength of the knock conveyed a confidence that the Hylian certainly didn't possess at the moment. His stomach was doing flips as he waited for his princess.
