Nobody Came Too Soon [In Progress]

Who: Fai D. Flourite [[livejournal.com profile] big_kitty] and Kurogane [[livejournal.com profile] mages_game]
Where: Horton, Room 303.
When: Very early morning of September 22nd.
Rating: PG-13 for Kurogane's potty mouth.
Summary: Fai makes a poor attempt to sneak in the apartment and drop off supplies.
the log:

Fai wasn't good at being sneaky. At least, not when it came to Kurogane. You can't out-sneak a ninja. But he'd been putting this off for days. When Fai had left the apartment a couple of weeks prior, he knew the apartment was low on basic supplies. He didn't have a doubt that Kurogane could fend for himself, but even still, he wanted to help his friend. With every new location that he'd taken the time to stay in, he gathered what supplies he could. Things were scarce, but he was able to scrounge up a few cans of food and other non-perishables. It wasn't much, but the ninja would be able to suffice with what he could bring until the next time the wizard could bring things around.

The trouble, of course, was how to give it to Kurogane. The way Fai had left was abrupt, and he knew it troubled Kurogane quite a bit. The ninja certainly wasn't going to accept his charity, so he would leave the supplies the only way he could. Sneaking into the apartment in the dead of night and leaving them. Once they were on the counter for Kurogane to see when he woke up, Fai would take his leave and go back to hiding out.

The tall blonde's eyes had become very adjust to the darkness of the Horton building. He stepped carefully, being cautious not to wake anyone - especially not the neighbors from across the hall. The only thing he wanted less than facing Kurogane was having to deal with Seishirou. His gloved hand reached for the worn doorknob, and slowly he turned it. The mage pushed the wooden door slowly, being careful not to set off the squeak in it's hinges. However, it was unavoidable. It let out the slightest squeal, cause Fai to cringe. 'Damn,' He thought to himself, fearing that Kurogane would come bursting out of one of the bedrooms.

Nothing. After a moment, there was still no sign of the raven-haired ninja and Fai let out a sigh of relief. He closed the door behind him, more cautious than before. He stepped lightly towards the small kitchen, in which he began to unload the small supply of cans.

'Almost done!'
