Who: Replica Riku, Kadaj, and Rinoa.
Where: Horizon Park
When: Midnight.
Rating: PG for violence, a little language.
Summary: Replica Riku and Kadaj want to spar and test out eachother's skills. Kadaj invited Rinoa to spectate.
the log:

He had left for the park as soon as he and the other were finished speaking, actually excited, secretly, to finally fight someone who handled the same weapon type as him after so long. He'd never admit it, but he held a sort of silent respect for the other, finding him almost disturbingly easy to relate to and worthy enough to challenge. He wondered what his name would be.

As for Rinoa, he had messaged her earlier with the information, so if she decided to witness the fight would be up to her. He had actually chosen the location with mostly her in mind. It wasn't completely safe, no doubt about that, but it was close enough to the apartments so that Kadaj was confident that he could get her to help if any unplanned accidents happened. Not that he believed any would. The remnant wasn't sure how skilled he really was, but he was certain that he wouldn't repeat that mistake again.

Since the park also had some distance between it and the main apartments, Kadaj felt fairly confident that no one who wasn't intended to spectate their competition would. He had the notion that such things were partly to blame for how disorganized he had gotten with his siblings and goal, as unwilling as he was to have that kind of conflict...

In the end it wouldn't matter. He would find Mother, and Yazoo, as his brother, would follow. Boots soundlessly scuffing against the lifeless dirt and pale hair settling over his face like a veil, he came to a stop near some rusted equipment, his eyes darting around for either of the two, or anything else that lurked around..

Kadaj was quite grateful he hadn't had a ridiculously sized sword as his weapon, unlike everyone else he knew who seemed to. It had been heavier at first, but he had adapted and now it was almost as easy as before. He was curious to see what his opponent's was like; what he had spoken of Kadaj hadn't known about before, so this would be, at the very least, a learning experience. Scoffing at the thought as soon as it entered his mind, he gripped the hilt of his weapon, taking it out and brandishing the twin blades at a Shadow that had attempted sneaking up on him. He stared as it seemed to dissolve into the air and suddenly lunged for another, and then another after that. The creatures were quick to show up, but a warm-up couldn't really hurt.
