Visitors welcome...maybe? ~Open
Who: Kurt Wagner
errolflynnrawks, Ty lee
standsonhands, Ryou
angelic_lawyer, Abel
justa_priest and possibly Vava
mufufu?
Where: The Church
When: Backdated to after this post and possibly spanning the next few days after it depending on when the characters wanted to pop in for a visit.
Rating: G-PG? I don't think it should get violent unless Vava flips out at all the people coming in recently.
Summary: Kurt made a post about the church and the thought of possible visitors. A few people were interested and came to see him.
the log: Unfortunately new people didn't always like seeing Kurt. He had to be very careful about who he told his secrets to. Too often had the truth been turned against him in the form of an angry mob or violence. In the circus it was easy for him to be himself, but out on the street he had to hide. At least until he'd met Professor Xavier and the X-Men. The addition of the image inducer had become like a godsend. He could look like a normal human being and walk the streets confidently!
Still, he had to be careful. No one could touch his hands or face or they'd know. It made relationships sort of tricky unless he were with another mutant.
But the people of Discedo had been so open with their secrets during that odd fog, it was only fair that he share his own with them. Despite how he was nervous of their reaction, he was received with a lot of understanding and positive, if not uplifting words. These people, many of them had good hearts. They were far too kind to be trapped in a place like this.
He supposed it all was some sort of test, a way to bring people together and make them stronger, no matter who they were, what they were or where they were from.
If only it could work that way all the time.
He wasn't blind, he'd seen people talk about the murders. That's why, when that first person walked through the door he'd take caution. He didn't wish to wear his cutlass, even if he were attacked, he didn't want to harm anyone. There had already been too much bloodshed. But it didn't sit too far from where he was perched.
He was mentally preparing himself. He'd found that people tended to have more confidence over a device like a phone or the internet. When it came down to seeing each other in person, sometimes things changed. So he was ready, just in case one of these people coming to see him, suddenly didn't like what he was.
He just hoped it wouldn't end up that way.
