Summary: Anemone had a nightmare. Mommy and Daddy, can she stay with yooou?
the log:
Today had been too draining for Anemone. Even though she hadn't been awake for too long, she was already physically exhausted. Her mind felt numb, but she couldn't quiet it down long enough to get any full rest. Between leaving the hospital, visiting Shimbo, and the new sleepover at Shinji's, Anemone wasn't sure how she would handle the next few days.
There were too many things to think about, things she didn't want to. And when she had first fallen asleep, she had. Guns, the gunshot, the one feeling, Dominic... and after waking up that first time, she couldn't shut her eyes without seeing her killer's heartless sneer, staring at her.
Sure, Shinji and Wolfwood were in the room, but she was so far away, on the couch they had dragged in. It felt lonely, frightening... she didn't want to stay so far away. After a few minutes, she finally decided to stand up, walking over to the bed.
"Shinji?" she whispered loudly. It was barely below her talking voice of the day, which wasn't much of anything. "Shinji, are you awake?"
