Who: Kadaj and Rinoa
Where: Gohl Avenue, on one of the other apartment roofs that Prydain and Namine haven't used.
When: Valentine's Day, Night.
Rating: PG-13..just in case.
Summary: Rinoa and Kadaj are taking the chance to look at the night sky. On Valentine's Day.
the log:

For Kadaj, it had been..an eventful day. The prospect of more candy had excited him into finishing it off all at once, though tempting as they were, he had managed to ignore both boxes--one from his brother, for several hours. Many headaches and some muffled whining later, he now stood on the roof of a nearby apartment building with Rinoa, there to look at the sky now that it could be seen so that Prydain and Namine could have their privacy. But his mind wasn't on the sky right now, it was elsewhere.

Valentines. Special someones. All of these things, apparently, that Kadaj didn't get. The remnant scowled. He didn't particularly enjoy being the only one around who didn't seem to have a clue. Even Prydain, the guy he was teaching, seemed to know more than him. And all the explanations were so vague, that they were hardly a help at all. He supposed this was just one of those times where he would have to rely on his own feelings. Not that he shouldn't have known better..

Especially as the one person he had really asked seemed just as confused. Maybe a little more. He hated how suddenly she would seem down, and wanted to make it better, but how was he supposed to go about doing that? Would it include..those couple activities? He wasn't sure if he was ready for that just yet, if ever. He still had a goal to finish, and it was bad enough that his focus had been strayed this long. It wasn't as if they didn't have their own worlds they'd go back to, after everything.

For now, hopefully taking her out here helped a little. His eyes flickered to the sky. It was clear, and there was something past the stupid planet. While the stars and two moons made him long to find Mother even more..it gave him some hope, to know that escape was possible. After a long, quiet moment of staring up, he let his gaze wander to the one sharing the view with him, not bothering to say anything just yet.
