Who: Kiden Nixon
freezeframe and Daniel Dreiberg
d_dreiberg
Where: Outside Latimir
When: Morning
Rating: PG-13, I guess?
Summary: Daniel offers to scavenge for weapons, and to teach Kiden how to defend herself.
the log:
Kiden didn't really know what to expect.
Sure, it was all good that someone was offering to help her out. Isn't like this kind of chance was going to come around again, knowing my luck. She thought sullenly as she sat outside the apartment complex she was currently calling home, waiting for the guy to show.
It wasn't as if she didn't know how to fight. Even before shit went down back home that was far beyond her ability to cope with, she'd known how to throw a punch. But this wasn't home, and she'd been fighting teenage boys; not monsters that could split her in two. Add into that she was currently chipped, making her incapable of escaping to No Time if shit went wrong, and yeah. The girl needed any break she could catch. But she'd never spoken to the guy who'd offered to help her out before, wasn't much for even surfing the network, so it was safe to say she had no clue what she was really getting into.
Guess it doesn't matter now.
