Summary: The silence can be defeaning, even when such times are hard to come by in a city so full of noise. Nill comes to visit Endrance at his home, to try to make it all a little more bearable.

The feeling of uneasiness came back. Nill didn't like being alone, and it was already night. There were plenty of shadows cast over the city for people and monsters alike to hide themselves in.
That's why she needed to hurry.
...and that's exactly what she did, as the girl carefully made her way through the empty and broken streets at night, with her blazer keeping her warm from the chill and her small wings bobbing with each step. She knew how to find the house on Gohl, and remembered that Kaoru lived nearby. It wouldn't hard to find them both. It was important. Her words to him before were like a promise, and she intended to keep them. If not because he had been a source of comfort during her darkest moments, but because she wanted to be able to do the same.
Nill caught her breath once she reached Gohl Avenue, walking down the side walk and look among the old buildings. There! She walked toward the old stoop and ascended it, giving the door at the top a light knock before opening it after a minute had already passed.
