The ruiner's got a lot to prove
Who: Legato & Anemone
Where: The park
When: Friday night
Rating: PG-13-R
Summary: Legato teaches Anemone a lesson about running her mouth.
the log:
There's a dull ache in almost every bone in his body. One that isn't intolerable, but aggravating nonetheless. The thought dawned on him that he should probably call for a doctor, and request medical aid. He'd managed to tend to the worst of his wounds-the bullet wound and binding his ribs-on his own but there was still the matter of his shoulder and the other serious yet not deadly injuries scattered all over his body.
Legato was hardly accustomed to dealing with injuries this severe. Conrad had been there first, then Elendira once Knives had the good doctor removed. But now there was no one left, and he had no choice to either let his injuries remain the way they were now and risk problems because of it, or to weigh the pros of allowing a doctor to poke and prod him. If there was even the slightest chance that one of them intended to chip him, everything would be for nothing.
These thoughts plagued him as he rested on a bench-mace lying nearby-that he didn't even realize someone was approaching until it was too late.
