Who: Courage and Garfield
Where: The Marshall Street apartments
When: Right after their conversation
Rating: G
Summary: Two talking(ish) animals in an apocalyptic future full of humans. Even if one's a cat and the other's a dog, it looks like they're stuck in the same boat together.
the log:
The journey wasn't long, only down the road, but it was far from stress-free. For one, he hadn't ever been to the Marshall apartments before. Oh, he knew that Harry and the creepy Janitor lived there, but beyond that he felt extremely out-of-place.
Then there were the monsters. Always the monsters. He just seemed to attract them for some reason and he couldn't understand why! And now that he'd pretty much used his plank for the windmill project, he was once again defenseless. Not to mention his imagination running away with him once again, imagining all the possible monsters--or even worse, the possibility that Garfield was in cahoots with some villainous, dog-hating group!
Thus, two sniffer dogs and much screaming and flailing later, the cowardly dog had finally arrived in the lobby of the Marshall Street apartments. Hopefully this cat wouldn't be like the others he'd encountered in the past. He really didn't want to get boiled alive today.
