log: ongoing [closed]
Who: Saber (
rex_britanniae), Gilgamesh (
evrythingismine), Tohsaka Rin (
bejeweledmagus), Belldandy (
musical_wings), Enkidu (
of_wild_clay)
Where: Just outside the city
When: 29 October, 6 AM
Rating: PG-13 for violence pr0n and probably some innuendo
Summary: Saber decides to put an end to Gilgamesh's asshattery once and for all (again!) and challenges him to a duel, Fate/Unlimited Codes-style.
the log:
The King of Heroes had always been a thorn in the side of the King of Knights, ever since he had decided during the Fourth War for the Holy Grail that she alone would be his queen. His violent nature – something that was acceptable during Heaven’s Feel – made things exceedingly difficult for his fellow Heroic Spirit. His licentiousness and possessiveness were as unbearable as they had been during the two Wars they had fought; she had hoped that his obsession would have diminished after his arrival in Discedo, but he continued to harangue her even as he made inappropriate overtures to young women. And to say nothing of his arrogance...that was as infuriating as ever.
But these last few weeks had been beyond the pale, even for him. Gilgamesh’s behaviour had been as reprehensible as it had been when they had last faced each other in Fuyuki City, but following the attacks on several people, both for prana as well as his pride, it had become clear that Saber would have to take matters into her own hands. She had defeated him once before...it would seem she would have to do so again.
The previous evening, she had discreetly slipped a handwritten note under the door of his room, challenging him to a duel not unlike their last battle. Now, she stood amongst ruins outside the city limits in her blue-etched battle-armour, waiting for the Fifth King of Uruk to arrive. Tiny fists clad in gauntlets clenched into fists, determination the only emotion displaying on her girlish features. Surely, the promise of a battle with a fellow Servant would be too tantalising for Gilgamesh to refuse. The very last thing she wanted to do was involve anyone else. They had suffered enough at the hands of her nemesis. Now was the time to settle that debt.
