Who: Zoro

baratiesbest and Umi
embracethewaves
Where: The shipyard
When: Backdated to Jan. 29th
Rating: pg...13? /stares at dirty pirate language 8|
Summary: There's barely a chance to catch your breath around here, but some things need to be said.
the log:
When things happened, it always seemed to be quite a few over a short period of time. It was weird, wasn't it? Things had been quiet for so long, and suddenly-- Weird monsters. Dwindling supplies. And then there was Hikaru, one of the two people she wanted so badly to see, more than anyone else, but not here of all places...!
Sometimes Umi wondered if the Scientists did it on purpose. If they enjoyed watching all the chaos.
Still -- thoughts like that weren't making it any easier to get to the shipyard. She could talk tough, easily -- "no big deal, it's not that far." But her leg was still stiff and sore, still bandaged. It took her longer than she expected to make the walk, which was at least supposed to be fairly short. And come to think of it, what a weird place to meet. Zoro probably had his reasons for suggesting it, but...
At any rate, when she got there, she found a light dusting of snow covering the whole ship. It was a little surreal (and reminded her of just how cold it was out there; she pulled her coat a little tighter around herself). Now all she could do was wait; watch the snow, watch the ship, watch for any sign of the two pirates.
