I put no blame on you, I brought this all upon myself

Who: Luffy [[livejournal.com profile] ihasastrawhat] and Ace [[livejournal.com profile] dontcallmegol]
Where: Northern Lights
When: Around an hour after this.
Rating: P for Pirate.
Summary: Nakama are leaving and things are falling apart... Ace tries talking some sense into his brother.
the log:

It had been an hour since Luffy had overheard that argument between Sanji and Ace. Typically clueless on the reasons between these things, Luffy wasn't sure why there had been a fight to begin with, but he knew not to ask. Whatever it was, it would be settled, he was sure, as it had been when the noise seemed to stop within a few minutes. Luffy didn't pay much attention to the words that were said, but halfway through the argument, he wished he had listened harder. There wasn't much he could do about it, though, and just planned on keeping an eye out for anything bizarre.

Unfortunately, he had been overcome by the almost incurable disease known as boredom. Time had passed and Luffy's mind had drifted from the fight to other things, from his passing-by entertainment of those he could see in the bar to explaining more of Discedo to Nami--which was a bit difficult, considering how little he knew of it himself, even for having been there a month--to looking around at everything (again, but he had already done this a few times and it only contributed to his boredom). The communicator remained neglected in his pocket; after all, he had no reason to worry. Ace, Sanji, and now Nami were with him, and Chopper and Zoro were at Marshall. The fire was out at the hospital, people were taking care of themselves, Cirno was alright (well, he was guessing on this one, but he hadn't heard any tiny cries of distress from the little ice fairy). They just had to wait for the snow to stop falling.

But the boredom was getting to him. Luffy hadn't noticed the lack of tinkering in the kitchen that had contributed to the dimming noise, but he found himself staring at the window. He was supposed to stay inside, and not freeze his limbs off. But just staring was boring... He left Nami to her own devices to avoid being smacked again, and Ace was sleeping last time he checked.

What to do now... He glanced around the bar, wondering if he should find his cook and see what had frustrated him earlier or see if he could run back to Marshall for some other clothing. Just... something to do. Maybe both. He headed for the kitchen, moving past Ace as he went to find the blond first.

[[ooc: I hope it's okay! Sorry it took like 4 hours to rewrite... if something's up, let me know? Brain at 5 am = mush. orz]]
