I want to tell the world I'll give them all a piggyback,

Who: Angeal Hewley [[livejournal.com profile] honoreverything ] and Zack Fair [[livejournal.com profile] lapdogmyass ]
Where: Horton 507
When: A particular gloomy Sunday afternoon
Rating: PG
Summary: Zack finds Angeal for a baw-fest that’s just been building up [for the both of them] ever since he’s arrived.
the log:

While Angeal had been feeling particularly better that Zack was back once again, and that Genesis was too -though that seemed to be off as well-, Minato had hadn’t been getting into too much trouble and that Sephiroth was considerably consistent in being himself, the man isolated himself off from others in an attempt to find out what it was that was ever so subtly tearing and nagging at him. It was all too easy for him to write it all off as his usual ‘worrying about everyone I’ve talked to and even more so over my friends’, but it simply didn’t feel like that this time. And he couldn’t write it off as that either.

Walking out of his room and into the kitchen, sighing and with a grump face nonetheless, he felt the best way to figure this out was over a drink. Setting everything up and leaning against the counter, waiting for the tea to steep, he crossed his arms and drummed his fingers on his arms. “What is it?” A question the man had been having to ask himself frequently here. His mind wandered to his new friends, and the ones from home. There was a prominent frown. “…” he hadn’t talked to Genesis lately. They were best friends, despite time differences, and there he was; ignoring everyone like some child and trying to figure something that obviously couldn’t have been figured out on his own.

Think about his friend, and how long it had been since they last talked, made his stomach turn uneasily. He would call him later. Some friend he was. And just like that, his mind flipped to Zack. How much of a ‘role model’ he was. What a ‘wonderful’ mentor and teacher he had been; making the boy kill him and expect him to do just fine. He held his breath at the thought, noticing just how much it was that his pulse raced and how much more his stomach knotted up. He thought he had come to terms with all of that and--

An internal buzzer sounded in his head and he walked over to the cup of tea, dunking the bag. Well, that would have to do for now. He didn’t want to bother with adding sugar or anything of the like, he merely waned something to mull over with his thoughts. Staring into a cup of tea seemed … barely more sane than looking off into nothingness with a thousand-yard stare. Once into the living room, Angeal seated himself on the couch, sighing to himself and going for a sip of tea. Now that he had something other than his rushing and vexed thoughts to concentrate on, he reveled slightly in the fact of being alone for this powwow with himself.
