Sometimes family is just more trouble than its worth

Who: Ezio, Giovanni, and Naja
Where: somewhere around or inside Latimir
When: idek. after the "miscommunication" and Naja asking to be properly introduced
Rating: PG...13? idk, depends on if anyone gets mad
Summary: Ezio finally properly introduces his father to Naja.
the log: Giovanni did not really have a problem with the unusual cat-lady from the communicator network. He hadn't been the most forthcoming person in their conversation and had easily led the conversation into the miscommunication that it had become. His only regret was the words he'd used to describe his own son. But he hadn't meant them as mean or spiteful; he had only meant that Ezio was still young and --well, Giovanni knew the boy had more experience than he gave him credit but he didn't know how much. And however much it was it wasn't nearly as much as himself or his brother who had been both trained from a much earlier age than Ezio. That was another thing he regretted in his life.

But really there was no need for anyone to get upset or fidgety over the matter. If his son wanted to have a relation with the woman he didn't care--it was good experience just doing anything responsible here, and it was Giovanni's own advice that had inspired his son to take up the responsibility. So it was actually a pleasing thing to learn that his son was working for, or at least in tandem, with this woman.

Why, then, he had to be probably introduced to her he was a little bit of a loss over. Back home he supposed he would have demanded knowledge in all his son did--but here was different, and as an Assassin alone he had a different view on life matters as it was, and he was not concerned. He felt confident in his son. Besides, he knew how to keep track of matters without seeming to.

He was curious though since it seemed the woman was the one to request the meeting. Ezio hadn't seemed too enthusiastic when asking and Giovanni got the feeling this was going to be awkward more than anything else. But at least it was an attempt at being socially proper and Giovanni understood and respected that, appreciated it too.
