Someone keeps sayin' I'm insane to complain
Who:
whiteduplicity (the King of Thieves) & [Bad username or site: snipers_shot title= @ livejournal.com].
Where: Around the Industrial District
When: BACKDATED like a boss to Stage 3 of the Lavos Plot. Specifically, right after this post and thread.
Rating: PG-13ish.
Summary: TKB goes after Grit. They duke it out; Grit escapes.
the log:
What an idiot. The human had absolutely no idea of just whom he was messing with, but the thief was more than happy to enlighten him. Some of them didn't get things until they were hit across with the face with it; it was almost an insult to be challenged by such an individual. He didn't know much about the person in question (damn him if he'd been bothered to actually get the guy's name), but enough to know there was very little to be a match for him in this entire, dismal place. And hide-and-seek just happened to be his specialty.
The ring's needles moved to and fro unhelpfully, pining for all directions; their perception being skewed thanks to whatever being was causing this place to be decidedly more screwed up than usual. Save for one, which pointed directly south. The corners of his lips twitched into a malicious smile. Yes, perfect. Not far at all. It seemed the human had sought somewhere where there wouldn't be many potential casualties...
The Industrial District. The warehouses loom high and foreboding, yet hardly intimidating. A chill wind causes a slight whistle to be heard between rotted wood and broken floorboards. It was a pathetic place; not a soul in sight. His Ka's gruesome manifestation appears even higher overhead. If the human didn't see that, then maybe he was one of the lucky (or unlucky, whatever you will) that obtained something of a six sense. Of which, there was good chance he'd be sick from just the sheer amount of malignant and twisted energy.
Either or those would do; or the explosion that rocks the ground as his Ka's bestial tail casually sweeps and demolishes the nearest side of a building.
