Summary: Knowlton upgrades communicators. See the elusive hollislander, marvel at his existence! (note: this log is optional; feel free to handwave getting the upgrade if you'd prefer.)
the log: There isn't some big dramatic entrance.
At a certain point, the bar's door opens, and a new customer comes in, looks around, finds an empty table and sits at it. He puts down the cardboard box he's been carrying. He takes off his parka, his earmuffs, his scarf. He leaves on the lighter jacket underneath. He opens the box and takes out a little piece of folded posterboard, written on in permanent marker:
Upgrades Here.
He puts his little sign facing out, takes a book out of the box, and then sits down, leaning back, using the table's extra chair as a footrest. He then begins to do crossword puzzles from the book.
If you were expecting a fancy shop and fancy supplies, you'd be disappointed.
