Trap Door
Who: Marco, Ethan Mars
Where: Lake shore.
When: After
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Ethan, overrun by his 'other self', wanders across Discedo, finally ending his journey at the lake.
the log:
Ethan stood at the shore of the lake, his expression more than distant - dead, numb to the world, a departed man trapped in the shell of the living. His skin matched the emptiness of his thoughts, white, almost blue with cold. The man's body shivered but his mind knew nothing of the frigid temperatures, knew nothing of the dangers of the monsters that might have stalked him to the frozen water's edge.
"Bodies..." The voice was a ripped broken thing that trailed from his lips. "Under...the water..." Ethan went to his knees, brushing aside snow to try and expose the ice crust beneath. He began to dig with hands going blue, a desperate need suddenly seeming to seize his almost comatose mind. "Get them out...set them free..." His voice rasped.
