♠ It's Where My Reason Stops ♠
Who:
dontcallmegol and
rules_the_north
Where: The Northern Lights
When: Friday at 7 o'clock (Ace will be fashionably late)
Rating: PG-13? uuuh there will be drinking but we aren't planning anything. Possibly piratey language, who knows? I'll change it if it goes a direction we're not expecting.
Summary: A good while back Cas picked some blind dates, both Ace and Sweden were signed up by their brothers unknowingly and chosen to "Date". Sweden turned into a child so it didn't work out then but, being the good sport that he is, Ace just rescheduled the "date" and Sweden picked the time. So here there are, at the bar, having a couple of drinks and a chat...
the log:
Ace hadn't exactly been thinking any of this through. He made the post, knowing that people could see it, but didn't really think anything of that either. As it turned out he sort of publicly humiliated not only himself but Sweden as well. At least Cas would know he went through with it. It was amazing how many people actually believed that he could...
Yeah okay, so that was a significant blow to his manly pride. Sure he was good at joking around but he wasn't aware he was THAT believable.
Ah well, no harm done, it didn't really matter what the others thought of them anyway. Besides, nothing was going to happen. They were just going to have a few drinks and probably talk just like any other night. It was just at the bar this time instead of at his apartment or in his warehouse or anything like that, so it could still technically count as a date.
Ace was running late, which wasn't really all that surprising. He just hoped the other wasn't getting thoughts of leaving or cold feet. But sure enough, as he walked through the door, there sat the tall blond, waiting for him. He sauntered over like he was the hottest thing to walk through those doors (Which... because he WAS fire, technically he probably was, at least in this weather) but he couldn't keep a straight face. He sat down, half slumping over the bar as he laughed at himself. Sweden could probably smell the rum on him, he got a little bit of a head start, just enough to loosen him up.
"Hope I haven't kept you waiting too long?"
