Wherein Kaito shows Marco and Ace his etchings... (he doesn't.)
Who:
kurobakaitoukid ,
dontcallmegol ,
fierybluebird
Where: Spero Observatory
When: July 8th, eveningish?
Rating: gonna go with R, because Marco and Kaito are both awful flirts
Summary: Kaito invites Marco and Ace over to the Observatory to show them something and to play a hand or two of pokerand maybe some drinking as well? Ace was sleeping (as he does) when the invitation came through, however, so Marco left a note for when the other pirate woke up and went to the mall to play boyfriend for a Kaito who had finally decided that it was time to get a little bit of skirt up on in here. They eventually headed back to the observatory to head off Ace before he got there.
The Log: For the first time since possibly the moment that Kaito had found himself in this wretched little place inappropriately named "hope" (and, oh, but irony burned, and if he ever found out that these so-called scientists kidnappers had left him in such a place as anything more than a coincidence, someone was going to regret it) he was beginning to feel something almost akin to content.
Sure, he was still missing most of his kit, and the absence still left him a little bit twitchy some days, but he still had his dad's monocle, and fifty-no, forty nine-cards loaded in his gun, and now, finally, he had a disguise as well. It wasn't anything special, of course, no face putty in sight and, honestly, the wig had been a really lucky find, but with the right application of make up no one except maybe that damn suspicious brat was going to recognize him as himself unless he wanted them to. He's also, apparently, found a willing participant in the sort of flirting innuendo games that he enjoyed so much and yet, had so much difficulty ever finding someone else willing to play along without either reading too much into it, or too little.
Add on top of all of that the fact that he was going to finally have a chance at a decent game of cards, and Kaito was practically floating as he walked. Well, it went quite well with the white sundress he was currently sporting, in any case.
