It's never a good thing when Tatsumi decides to reveal himself. As much as he hates it--how helpless he is to stop anything, how he can't defend Japan even if he tried--it's honestly better that darkness is creeping along the edges of America's vision, dragging him down, lulling his frantic thoughts and making his movements more weak and sluggish.
He staggers, stumbles to his knees. He tries to look at Japan but his vision is swimming. The time has passed for any last-minute warnings.
