"Interesting..." Marco mused. He meant it genuinely too. "Sometimes I wonder, eh? I can't really bring myself to regret not killing Blackbeard. There was no way we could have known, eh? Besides saying 'when we had the chance' is bullshit. I would have had to suspect all my brothers and never trust them..." A small sigh. There were a lot of things he could regret, but refused to. As for how fake he was... No, even more specifically, what parts were fake. This was going to take a bit of thought, Marco genuinely wasn't sure. It wasn't that he got so caught up in the lies he believed them himself, but usually it was clear when he was joking. Not always though. "I lie because they're hilarious, and if I do it enough, even the truths seem like lies which is even more hilarious." That was one and he held up a finger for it. "I'm only 100% honest to family and lovers." Another finger and another shot of his drink. "My loyalties, the important things, none of those are fake. The truly genuine things are pretty obvious when they're real, eh? Everything else might as well be for laughs.
