The Log:

[ This is an open log for those who wish to explore Lachesistein freely, and it can take place any time between July 16th and 26th. For more information on Lachesistein, please refer to the Exploration plotting post. If something comes up at all, make sure to contact a mod with your questions or concerns.

[We like the ground Bolin. It's not moving and it's not bumpy. If only the ride was smoother. Six hours felt much longer than that.]

Unless you have a tranquilizer, no. Ugh, I feel like I was dying on that train.

[Don't feel bad. Out of preparing for this whole trip she still didn't have anything for this.]

Didn't think this place would be so far.

[The young woman just shakes her head as she kept her gaze on the ground. Rosetta was here somewhere but there was nothing leading in any type of direction where she and anyone else can be. The mist wasn't helping matters...neither were the voices.]

[ She sniffs around the junk, pocketing the crayons when she's pretty sure America's preoccupied with something else. They are necessary for investigative purposes. Also drawing purposes. But mostly investigative purposes. ]

I don't smell anyone on them. Besides you, of course. And you're not the only one who's been finding shit. [ She pulls a black piece of shattered plastic out of her pocket and lies it on the table, next to Namine's things. ] It doesn't mean either of them are actually here.

[The minute they all get off, the first thing Smoker does is start looking for tracks. Of course with everyone from Discedo and Dissimulo running about, the tracks are pretty quickly distorted, so he heads a lot further, hunting for monster tracks or better signs of populous. If Tashigi is really kidnapped, she'll be at some sort of prison, which means figuring out what he'll have to fight and securing an exit route first.

Perhaps surprisingly to anyone who doesn't know him, he almost instantly finds his way to the police station. Little good that does him.

By nightfall his ears are going crazy though. He's always had sensitive hearing to begin with, his specifically hearing haki is not helping that and hearing little kids calling for his help and not being able to find them? Yeah, that's not going to take long to start driving him nuts.]

Ah, too bad. [ At least she replies in a careless manner, as if she doesn't really care either way. She's peering down though now so she can at least see him in the mist. Not someone she recognizes by any means, but.. ]

And not really, as you'd expect. The fog is just way too thick. Like some creepy haunted town movie.

Don't have a camera. Besides, Let's leave that to Aya, At least you'd know who to go after if somethin' came out.

[Her laughter finally over for now, peers at the building.]

Doesn't look too bad...Should we start here or move further in?

[Flandre touches down on the flat roof, letting go of Cirno for now.]

There's a door here.

[And as she says this sets about to prying the roof access door open, hooking her claws into the metal and the handle and pulling. It's locked, but that doesn't mean much when one has the strength to crumple it like tinfoil.]

[Wasn't that that boy she had helped out some time ago with all those living plants were around?

What the hell were kids doing here? Sailor Jupiter instantly went after him to grab him by his collar to stop him in his tracks before he tried to go any further.]

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Where do you think you're going?

Who knows, maybe you might find some people who are willing to partner up with you. I'm not particularly afraid, so I'm going on my own.

I have to agree it's worse, but it's stranger too. Somehow it feels like this place hasn't been abandoned as long as Discedo has been, right?

Seems like it. [ She seems relatively like usually - calm, deadpan, but there's just a hint of her being slightly more on guard like this. ]

I'm not sure if there's really something there though.

I'm not too sure who can defend themselves and who can't. Either or, I feel like it's safer to atleast have one other person with them, but that's entirely up to them.
[She wished they would, but she can't really force anyone to do so.]

In a way yes, even with how shabby everything looks. It somehow feels like there's people still here....or maybe I'm just hearing things?

[She swears she can hear whispering out in the mist along with fading shadows in the distance.]

I think Flandre wants to go in. So we're going in.

[ Who but Terezi arrives and darkens the hallway with her horrible style and sniffing galore. Again with the face, again with the eyes. ]

What are you kids doing here?

[ Across the 4th wall, Hermione replies: we fucking go to school here. Terezi is having none of that shit, though. Instead, she's greeting Steve with a casual nose to the armpit. A greeting that also confirms one of Terezi's suspicions. A suspicion she had been nurturing for a while now and had also been the reason she was currently stalking America. ]

His freedom smells better than yours, America.

[entreats]

No, it really does sound like something is here. Unless we're both having the same hallucination. [ she can't help but stare off into the fog, trying to figure it out.. ]

It could just be monsters though like in Discedo.

[She dismounts her broom and pulls out the hakkero once more. They had not run into anything so far but she was not taking any chances.]

I'm followin' you two so lead the way.

[ See, he might have begun to calm down if only because Captain America told him to and he's the guy in charge you always do what Cap says, but that plan is cut short when his stalker shows up.

Several things immediately become apparent in America's mind as Terezi sidles up to his idol:

1. This girl has some serious creeping capabilities.
   
2. And red eyes. She's probably a communist.
   
3. She is better at stalking people than America.
   
4. She is better at stalking Steve than America.
   
5. He must step up his game and start channeling some of his paranoia, spy tactics, and craziness into keeping track of this troll girl.
   
6. Why is she the only one who gets to sniff Steve?

America decides to rectify this last point by pretty much shoving his face into Steve's shirt. ]

What?! No way!

[ SNIFFFFFFFFFF. ]

Our freedoms smell just as good, you dunno what you're talking about. They're just different variations, dig? Like his is all crisp and pure, like Rocky Mountain air. Kinda ironic since he's from the Brooklyn, I know, but it's got this winter-y scent to it-- uh. For. Reasons.

[ He knows everything about your life Steve. ]

But mine's got that tinge of soil and dirt and horse and gunpowder and fire and that's the smell of growth. See?

[ And then he rolls up a sleeve to give Terezi his bare arm to sniff. ]

[Steve got lost when they started talking about the smell of freedom. Apparently freedom has different variations and really, he should be used to this by now.

Although, he's not sure if he'll ever get used to being sniffed at. And now America is doing it. What is his life.]

Guys? We should continue searching this place... [Maybe a change of topic will help. He is a very naive person.]

[By the time night fell, Washu was getting frustrated with the lack of results. So far everything she had managed to uncover had brought up more questions then answers!

Though she was certain of one thing by now, Tenchi and Sasami were not here. But, what happened here? Washu was hoping the police station might hold some answers.]

[As soon as the train stopped in the station, River was off to see what she could discover.The foremost thing on her mind was locating Amy and Rory.

However, it was soon very apparent that there was something very, very wrong with this place. The figures in the mist. Every once in a while she thought she saw a flash of Roman armor.. or just a child running. The voices were unsettling.

Eventually she ducked into one of the many abandoned houses to explore. What she found unsettled her even more. Broken Mirrors. The mentioning of Angels. River was starting to have a very bad feeling about this.

And for once? She prayed she was wrong.]

But what if there is?

[She sounds really torn about going ahead or staying, unsure on what to believe.]

[ Terezi senses a challenge in the air, and she accepts. She takes the proffered arm and sniffs. ]

Nope. Sorry, brodog. I smell a lot of strange plants, lots of dirty laundry, and a bit of apple pie. While pretty good, I'll admit, it's no where near as good as our logical friend here. [ She nods at Steve before shoving her nose back into his armpit. When she speaks, it's muffled. But it's loud enough to cut off any protests America might have. ]

Besides, he's also the one who has really good ideas. I mean, did you hear that? We should continue searching this place. Yeah, we should. That's definitely a thing we should be doing right now. [ She pulls back and gives Steve a wink. ]

Lead the way, Freedom boy. I'll watch your back. [ and your booty. ]

[ Challenge accepted. America doesn't remove his face from Steve's shirt, but angles it juuuust so he can see Terezi. Just so she can taste the competitive, haughty smirk on his face. The only reason he's not offended is that she still said he's pretty good, and if he can stand to be #2 to anyone, that person would be Captain America. ]

Oh yeah, tons of good ideas. Just wait 'til you see the ideas he's gonna have but hasn't had 'em yet. They're awesome. Trust me, I know them all pretty much by heart.

And since you can't really watch anything, I'll just have to cover both ya'll!

[ BLAM you all just got a taste of the Bitch Pudding. ]
