The Log:

[ This is an open log for those who wish to explore Lachesistein freely, and it can take place any time between July 16th and 26th. It's gone Flan. Are you both okay?

[She picks the broom off the ground and walks towards the end of the stairs to make sure that they were both okay. That thing just told her that this place was just as bad as Discedo if not worse.]

I coulda started with fire when it attacked. But I waited, just ta be nice. Besides, now we know how to deal with the things, whatever they are.

[Okay..She wasn't sure if the fire would even work, but she was glad it did.]

[then_there_were_none]

[At least the monsters in Discedo had the courtesy to be properly monstrous before mauling was attempted!

Flandre chirps in answer, at least at first.]

We're fine, Marisa.

[Then she picks Cirno up again to glide back down the stairs, now that the face...door...thing was gone.

Beyond the doorframe, there were the standard expected features; cubicles, what were probably offices, sometimes twisty hallways.]

-As soon as Cirno's feet were allowed to do so, she took off past the cubicles, looking into each one.-

Kantaroooou! Harukaaaa!

Hey! Hold on!

[Marisa started after Cirno a bit before shaking her head. Why did she agree to this again? Oh right, She promised herself to watch over both Cirno and Flandre, even though she only told Cirno she was there to help protect Flandre. This was not going to end well given the encounter they just had.]

[then_there_were_none]

Cirno!

[Flandre immediately takes off after the fairy, calling her name a few times before she can catch up.

There isn't much in there, though. Certainly no one else, besides the fairy, the vampire, and the witch. More papers scattered around, pens left out, coats left on the backs of chairs.

...though one coat in particular makes her stop and frown and, after a moment, pick up. It was...Pip Bernadotte's coat, and so much bigger than Flandre. But why was it here?

She carried it with her anyway, even though it made for a slightly awkward lump to carry even when it was folded up.]

[baka_jyanai]

Hey... I recognize that jacket... -Cirno's eyes focused a bit.-

So they are here! They have to be! Come on, let's go!

[stardustreverie]

[Marisa caught up again after a moment of looking around carefully. She was taking no chances right now. She doesn't say a thing but now she is looking a bit distracted, looking around. If that coat was known to them..What else could be hiding around here? She walks a bit away, trying to keep a eye out ahead of them]

[then_there_were_none]

But...Pip didn't even send a letter, and Remi didn't mention him here, so...why?

[He didn't seem like the kind of person that got along with desk jobs, either.

She fluttered up to Cirno's shoulder anyway, zigzagging back and forth a bit to get a better look around the room. She doesn't find anything else she recognizes specifically, besides the coat still clutched in her arms.]

Did Marisa find something too?

-Meanwhile, Cirno runs off again, in rather desperate search of her family.-

KANTAROU! HARUKA! GET YOUR BUTTS OUT HERE!

[Marisa found something alright, something that stopped her dead in her tracks. She quickly made her way to one of the desks and knelt down at a open drawer, reaching in with a bit of sadness crossing her face. She pulls out a very familiar blonde haired doll.]

....They got Alice too? But why would she leave this here...

[She was distracted for the moment but snapped out of it when she heard Flandre. She was quiet when she responded, really unsure of how to feel at this point.]

Yeah..I found one of Alice's dolls....Who all did they get?

[Although all that yelling...]

Eh? Where did Cirno go?

[then_there_were_none]

[The little vampire tilted her head a bit, at the little-er thing Marisa was holding. She didn't know that person that well, except as someone Patchouli mentioned sometimes.


...was she forgetting somethi-]

--Cirno! Where are you?

[And zipping off to follow the fairy's voice!

Through a wall, because finding the door would take time. And there might be one of those faces in it again.]

[baka_jyanai]

HARUKA! KANTAROU! WHERE ARE YOU?! GET OUT HERE!!

-She kept shouting, wandering the halls at nearly full tilt. She was vaguely aware of the others trying to go after her, but her focus was pretty much only on finding her family.-

[stardustreverie]

[If she had a moment to pause, she would have smacked her forehead but now was not the time. Marisa took off through the cubicles, slipping the doll into her hat as she did, getting to the door. She opened the door and thew a fire covered star at it but she was lucky for now, there was nothing there.]

Flandre! Cirno!

[She was worried, Because she could not see them. But she ran towards the yelling, hoping to at least keep close enough, even if she could not find them.]

[then_there_were_none]

[Flandre at least would be easy enough to track: just follow the little-vampire-sized holes in the wall.

She's finally caught up with Cirno, though, this time fluttering right at the fairy's shoulder; none of this meandering around.]

Did you find anything? At all?

[--then her mind comes back to the other thing it had been pushed away from thinking about.]

Marisa! You're lost now!

[baka_jyanai]

They're not here...

-Cirno turned her attention to Flandre, then the are around them. She couldn't orient herself without windows. She really was lost.-

MARISAAAAAA!!

[stardustreverie]

[She paused in the hallway, looking around. She had kinda gotten lost in the hallways so she was, in fact, lost. Hearing her name echo from another hallway had her running down it.]

FLANDRE! CIRNO!

[Was that worry in her voice that she was letting out when calling out for both of them? Nah, Have to be imaging things. She stopped again when she couldn't hear anything again. Although now she was starting wonder if she was just getting herself even more lost then before because she had not seen a hole in the wall shaped like Flandre for a bit now]

[then_there_were_none]

Marisa!

[Flandre starts a bit when she hears the witch's voice, now distant-seeming; hadn't she been right behind her...?

But the little vampire is thinking ahead this time! It's one of her doppelgangers that splits away from the main one to flit away down the hall, following the voice. The other Flandre stays by Cirno's side.]

Marisa?

[The doppelganger scratches at one of the walls, where she thinks she heard Marisa's voice.]

[baka_jyanai]

-Cirno clung to Flandre, looking as frightened as she refused to admit she was.-

[stardustreverie]

[Hmm? What was that noise? Marisa goes towards the scratching noises, knocking on the wall in response....although she is on total guard at the moment. This was not what she wanted to do while here.]

...That had better be you guys....

[then_there_were_none]

[Another doppelganger split away from Flandre to hold onto the coat, so that the main one could squeeze the fairy back and curl her wings around her. She frowned a bit, even as she closed her eyes; having them open and the doppelgangers around made her feel sick. That shivering was...bad. This kind was. Flandre wanted to make it stop.]

I can get us out still, Cirno.

[The vampire links her wings together on the fairy's back, like a second hug.


Down the hallway, the doppelganger scrabbling at the wall sounded much more triumphant.]

Marisa!

[And immediately picked up the pace, scratching away chunks of paint and drywall and splinters of wood until she could reach through the other side with one hand.

Tiny claws coming through the wall were probably not the best least-worrying thing at the moment, though.

But she's trying to be careful and not throw bits of rubble back at Marisa's face! That would be rude.]

[baka_jyanai]

-Cirno nodded. But from the sound of it, they'd at least be together again. Still lost! But at least not alone.-

[stardustreverie]

[Marisa gets closer to the scratching and peers at the wall with a bit of confusion. When the claws start coming through though, she moves over to the side, putting a hand on the wall.]

Flandre?...Cirno? Are you guys over there?

[She sounded hopeful. She was hoping they would hear her, although the sound of her name certainly made her worry a bit less. She was bad at this chaperone thing and was quickly learning this fact. She had taken the doll out of her hat was holding it close as watched the claws coming through the wall]

[then_there_were_none]

You are there!

[The claws brace against the sides of the wall, where they can reach, sink in a bit--and pull backwards.

Part of the wall comes away with them, with the shrieking noise of breaking wood and drywall and cracking wire--until there's a bigger-than-Flandre-sized gap in the wall.

The main Flandre peeks one eye open.]

I found Marisa, Cirno.

[baka_jyanai]

-Cirno silently nodded, clinging a bit less tight.-

Tell her I'm sorry...

[stardustreverie]

[She made sure to stand clear the instant he heard the groan of the wall and apprehension faded into joy as she stepped though the hole and spotted the doppelganger. She looked about and realized quickly what it was. She smiles widely, trying to hide the fact she was worried behind her usual grin.]
