[ Though he'd come here with Suigetsu he's currently alone, not especially fond of that fact but they'd decided that splitting up might be beneficial for a little while. ]

Nothing that I came here for. [ They'd found a few interesting things, sure, but mere trinkets aren't enough to sate him. Nevertheless he maintains that cool demeanor. He's accustomed to disappointment. ]

Hm? Oh, yes. I wanted to test out my new little toy. ((He holds up a strange gun. His beloved slot machine gun!!)) I doubt something like this exists in your world. It's an oddity in ours as well.

I haven't seen anything like it before. Knives are usually enough.

It was like that in our world once, actually. Knives have a certain upper hand, but all in all, a gun is the way to go. The Englishman pillaged the New World hundreds of years before I was even a thought in anyone's mind. They came with guns against the people who bore only knives and bows. Sure, both cause casualty, but with a gun, a weak man can topple the strongest chief of a village.

This thing? I could take out a crowd of people if I so wished it.

And I was taught that a pebble in good hands could beat a sword. Maybe both are truth, sometimes.
