Tsk. Nothing useful. [He holds up a pair of red rimmed extremely thick glasses however.]

Tashigi has glasses like this. Damned woman's always forgetting to wear them too... [He shakes his head.] No other signs of her though, just the same chaos and jumping at shadows.

[She goes back to glancing through papers to see if she can spot anything he might have missed.]

This is probably a giant trap you know.

But I've sprung traps before.

It's not a risk I'm willing to take either. That it's a trap with her as bait.

I agree. The ones that set this trap will get the full brunt of my anger if its a trap with them as bait.

[She smiles pleasantly though there is definitely a hint of a threat in her voice. Pissing off a mad scientist of her calibrator is never a good idea~.]

But, unless they can dampen Juraian genetics, I think its safe to say they aren't here. So that leave the question of 'Why bring us here'?

[Ears flick. How does one dampen genetics? How does one even follow genetics outside of lineage?]

Hn. That's the real question. It seems a lot of work just to get us to the city to kill us. And if that's their plan; where are "they"?

Yes, genetics. I've already scanned the entire city for both their power signatures and their genetic patters among the populace along with astro patterns and dimensional signals. You'd be surprise how much one person gives off as an identifying marker.

[She pauses for a moment before answering his next question.]

Not a clue but I don't think they want to kill us. They would have done it already.

[A grunt.] Agreed, but the question is why they haven't even shown themselves.

Either they fear whatever did this more than we know, or it got them. At least, those are my two current theories.

Spiritual pressure. More or less. Enough of it lets you hear the true heart of things.
