The Log:

[ This is an open log for those who wish to explore Lachesistein freely, and it can take place any time between July 16th and 26th. [Giggling a little behind her hands] L-let's try getting food first.

Yeah, heh... okay. That's in here for sure. [ He points to the grocery store they're approaching. ]

[meilihua]

[It's dark, but at least they can see...] Let's try to find things that might not have gone bad yet... Dry foods or maybe cans...

[shortestfuse]

Ah, yeah. Preserved ones. [ He picks up various items, staring at the labels. English is still somewhat difficult to read. ]

Pasta. [ Nodding he tucks it under his arm and picks up a can. ] Beef... somethin'. Any luck?

[meilihua]

I found some flour and salt and rice...

[shortestfuse]

Oh those are good. [ He nods approvingly, shoving stuff into an abandoned plastic bag. ]

Ah, sweets. [ He points to the candy isle proudly. ] Maybe a couple...

[meilihua]

Haha yeah, got to keep everyone's spirits up, right?

[shortestfuse]

[ A chuckle. ] With candy? Yeah. Think that'd be the kinda food to do it.

[meilihua]

Maybe we can find a bag or a shopping cart or something to put all this stuff in...

[shortestfuse]

A found a bag? I can carry all this stuff pretty easy...

But if it gets to be too much, there should be a cart someplace...

[ He looks around, plucking supplies as he goes. ]

Ah, over there at the end of that aisle?

[meilihua]

Okay, I'll go get it! [Wandering off on her own in her excitement.]

[shortestfuse]

[ He smiles a bit at her enthusiasm and watches her go. ] Um... be careful. [ He calls after her. ]

[meilihua]

[She waves a hand in response, heading off. It would be really bad if something attacked her right about now...]

[shortestfuse]

[ SOMETHING TOTALLY ATTACKS HER AAAH IT'S THE SPIDER'S FRIEND, DWEMER/CENTURION SPHERE.

Meanwhile Shizuo is standing in the candy aisle, totally eating some gummies. Go team. ]

Ahhhhh-! [Taiwan grabs the first thing she can see, and slams it at the sphere instinctively, sending it skidding a few feet away from her.]

[shortestfuse]

[ Lifting his head at the cry, mid-chew, Shizuo drops the bag of candy and peers around. ]

Taiwan? [ He starts at a slow pace before running to the end of the aisle. ]

Taiwan! You okay? Where are you?

[meilihua]

[She stares at the sphere as it unfolds up to attack her, ducking behind some shelving, casting her eyes around for a weapon. Really should've brought the sword Japan made her...]

I'm fine, there's just something else here-!

[shortestfuse]

Get away from it, I'll be right there! [ He calls out, trying to find her between the shelves. ] Hide or somethin'!

[meilihua]

N-no, it's fine, I can handle it! [She glares at the sphere, which was sparking a little from the impact. She walks over to it angrily, hitting it again with the hairdryer she found herself holding it, sending it slamming against some shelving, and then tossing the hair dryer after it, hard.]

[shortestfuse]

[ He hears a crash and reaches her in time to see the monster crumple under falling shelving.

And he pretty much stands there speechless.

She's... strong. ]

[meilihua]

[Dusting off her hands] Well, that should take care of you. [She hasn't seen Shizuo yet.] Stupid weird ball thing...

Sorry. [ Shizuo replies sheepishly, rubbing his neck. ] I didn't wanna scare ya.

You took care of that guy... pretty fast. You're... alright, then?
