Y-yeah, it looks like it's um [well, it's sparking oddly, machines don't do that when they're working properly, right?] ...taken care of.

I'm okay, it just surprised me.

Ah...well... [Wow, that was so unladylike!!] I guess?

[Muttered] I still don't like killing bugs.

... You don't have any problem with it or anything?

[ He sniffs, amused. ] Bugs always mind their own business.

H-huh? A...problem? [Well, maybe the fact that it looks really uncute...] Not really...?

[A quick laugh, more out of tension than anything else] Yeah, I guess mostly they do.

... [ Shizuo is very impressed. ] I'm like you, then. Ah, well you seem to have more control.

[meilihua]

Eh...well... I mean. It's kind of part of being a country... And with all my brothers I kind of have to learn how to hold my own, you know?

[shortestfuse]

I forget sometimes that you're a country. You seem like a person to me.

[meilihua]

I'm a person too! More, really, I guess, when I'm here...

It seems tough to be Taiwan when you can't be in Taiwan. I mean, if that's how it works.

Y-yes! [Wow, Shizuo, so wise...?] That's exactly it! It's been so hard to figure out how to put it into words...

[ These two...

He smiles. ]

Ah, well, it's good to have you here sorta.

I hear Tai- you're nice... Taiwan's nice. Do I refer to... you or the place...

I-i'm fine with it if you say both...

[shortestfuse]

Okay then. [ He hoists his big bag of food up. ] Let's ditch this place.

[meilihua]

[Taiwan's bag of supplies is quite a bit smaller, but she does the same, walking close enough to Shizuo to bump against him completely accidentally] Sounds good.

[shortestfuse]

Maybe we should- [ The bump makes him start a little, wondering if it was his fault or if he hurt her, but a look to the side where she's walking completely fine makes him sigh. ] Leave the mall. But if you gotta place you wanna go...

Yeah, let's bring all this stuff back to everyone else!

[shortestfuse]

[ Uuuuu, she's so cute. He looks away and nods, heading in the direction of the exit. ] Sounds good to me. Bet they're hungry.

It's a little silly that no one thought about bringing food, huh...

Ah, I only thought we'd be here for the day lookin' for our family.

[meilihua]

And then the train disappeared...

Well, it'll be back 'cause it's a train and it's got places to go, yeah?

I-it wasn't a very nice train though...so who knows?

... Think it woulda broke down?

...you mean maybe we could be stuck here forever...?
