[Gin picks up on the smirk and, rather than returning the dish or handing it over to Shizuo and pick something else, Gin accepts it as a challenge.
He takes one bite of the chewy rice confectionery and blinks in surprise before his face falls.]

[He's very close to gagging, but he's not going to take the spoon out of his mouth. He's going to stubbornly swallow it just to avoid losing face.
