In darkness, she is all I see
Who: Dave Strider and John Egbert
Where: Their apartment
When: While Dave is still part bird
Rating: PG-13 for language
Summary: Dave is exhibiting some birdlike tendencies. While it is slightly endearing, it's still really fucking annoying.
The Log:
Within the week, Dave had finally gotten the hang of walking and he even kind of knew how to fly. He also learned how to pick up things with his feet, seeing as hands weren't a viable option anymore. All and all, Dave was mostly functional despite the strange transformation. If anything, it seemed being whatever he was ended up being a slight disservice. He couldn't partake in the usual things he enjoyed and he always needed John to help him with his device. His hearing and eyesight improved in an alarmingly terrible way ("John, stop shouting.").
Most of all, Dave couldn't help himself to doing ridiculous bird things. Like the fact he stole the blankets and pillows to make some pseudo nest thing in the corner. That, and his need to collect shiny things around their apartment and horde them in said nest.
That being said, when John wakes up, he'll find that his glasses are missing. Now where did they go?
