Who: Sonic the Hedgehog and OPEN

Summary: Sonic got bored of waiting, unsurprisingly enough, and decided to take a walk outside. In the rain.
the log:
Sonic walked outside and looked down at his sneakers. The water was so high already... Sure, there was work being done to prevent a flood, but everyday there was always so much more water. Being only 100cm tall didn't do much good for the hedgehog either. The water was so high already for Sonic, his sneakers were soaked by the time he'd gotten outside! He stuck his tongue out, disgusted and moved his feet up and down, shaking them around.
"Man, this is total bogus! When is this rain gonna end anyway? It was great at first... maybe for the first week... But now? Now it's totally uncool." When he started to rub his face and quills, trying to clear it of water, he touched his hand against the bandana. It was soaked now, too, yet again. No matter how many times Sonic tried to dry it off, it always got soaked again.
He promised Mona that he'd keep it safe. It seemed really important to her... it'd be horrible if it got ruined because of his risky actions. He squeezed the fabric tightly, a grin returning to his face, "I can do it. No sweat."
His gloves and shoes were now heavily soaked, and it hadn't even been over five minutes yet. The hedgehog knew he should go back inside to wait for Ness, but he just couldn't. And he couldn't help with the sandbags or any of the supply or building work until his arm was healed...
Total bummer, indeed. "Whatever! A quick run around the city can't hurt! At least it isn't hailing!"
Not waiting another second, the blue blur sped off, dodging any and all debris, as well as any zombie dogs that decided he looked like a good snack.
