The walk from Gohl Avenue to the high school was primarily uneventful. Admittedly, Mia only had half an idea of where she was going. After Endrance had fetched her from the seaport, she had glanced about at the ruined city on the trek back. She remembered a row of buildings next to a church, and thought it was a good enough place to start.

Despite the cloudy weather, Mia found the trip rather pleasant. Oh, yes, there was the persistent sound of skittering and she vaguely felt she was being watched by dozens of curious eyes, but the feline woman was feeling weather for the second time in her life. The feeling of wind through her fur was still such a novelty.

Mia was in luck; if she had any doubts of her surroundings, the startling blue spot on the horizon put her at ease. He was... quite bright, wasn't he? Her eyes widened slightly before settling back into her trademark, half-lidded stare. She smiled before striding up, raising one hand in a lofty wave.
