She was almost grateful she didn't need to eat or sleep; it meant she could devote more time to finding Lloyd, who would need those things. Danger lurked around every corner, in every shadow, in different ways than it had at home, and to top it off, Colette couldn't use her magic. She couldn't feel the mana in the world, and her wings had disappeared. But why not my other afflictions? she wondered briefly, but it was not the time to feel sorry for herself, and so she kept running, looking for a trace of red or a flash of twin swords, all the while wishing she could at least call out to him.
