Mistletoe is a ridiculous tradition at the best of times, but Ada has never been one for celebrations of any kind in the first place. A bottle of wine after a particularly tough mission? Sure, she'd treat herself every once in a while. But Christmas and Thanksgiving and other such times were only more of an excuse to drink than ever-- she'd never liked them, and it wasn't as though she had anyone to celebrate with even if she had wanted to.
But Edgeworth was proving a nice challenge. She had met plenty of people with sticks firmly wedged up their asses before, but nothing quite like him. He claimed that he could have fun occasionally, but at who's expense? Being a prosecuting attorney clearly spelled out just how he liked to spend his days, and she was determined to change that.
She'd already been walking towards his apartment as they spoke over the communicators, so it was only a matter of seconds before she let herself in and went down the hallway to find his.
