The Log:
If there was such a place as hell, then Discedo—as Agito had promptly decided—was undeniably it. The Fang King and his gentler counter part had lived through a lot of crap in their young lives, though Agito wasn’t sure that any of it could top this in the grand scheme of things. For three weeks now he had been wandering through the crumbling and monster-infested city with little food and even less water. Sleep was a luxury to be had only when he could find somewhere small enough and safe enough to curl up in, and the last shower he could remember taking had been the downpour of rain a week or so ago. He was cold and he was sore, though mostly he was just angry… especially with Ikki!
It didn’t matter to Agito that for the same three weeks he had been lost in the city, the other Storm Rider had probably been in a similar state, nor did it matter to him that the dumbass was currently injured—he was pissed at him regardless! While this entire situation clearly wasn’t Ikki’s fault as Agito had originally been convinced of, he was still disgruntled at how long it had taken them to make sense of what was going on and where to find help… the latter of which was still in the works, no thanks to that Crow bastard and his antics. Not only did he have to find the asshole, but now he had to help him as well?! That was just cruel, though it would have been crueller for Agito to just leave him there.
Fortunately for Ikki, in all his wandering of the city, Agito had learned relatively early on where the sorry excuse for a park was located and thus he had wasted little time at all in bolting down the street towards it as fast as his A-Ts would carry him. As annoyed at Ikki as he was, leaving him to die at the hands of the demonic dogs was not high on Agito’s list of priorities. Akito would never have forgiven him if he did!
“Oi, Crow! Where the fuck are you?”
Slowing his speed once he reached his destination, Agito’s single visible eye roamed over the desolate area in hopes of spotting the other boy. This was one of the last places he wanted to linger for too long, what with all the creatures lurking around. All he could do was look and hope like hell that he wasn’t too late… for Akito’s sake, of course.
