HOST CLUB EVENT: Valentines Afternoon. [open log!]
Who: THE HOST CLUB (Tamaki, Hikaru, Kaoru, Kyouya, Mori, Haruhi) and GUESTS (you!)
Where: second floor Music Room
Whean: 3pm Saturday, Valentine's Day
Rating: fff E, wtf do you think this is? 8(
Summary: The Host Club is about...these handsome guys that have time, giving hospitality to these lovely ladies who also have time, and profiting from it.
the log:
Upon pulling the door open and entering the room, one was struck by how well-lit and clean it was; the Host Club was efficient, if anything at all. There was almost an air of elegance to the simplicity and the choices that had been made...the soft beige paint, the mismatched and hand-sewn curtains that somehow complemented one another, without clashing. The room had been painstakingly put together from the start: designing, planning, and finally construction. The paint wasn't exactly the color Tamaki would have liked, but in this place one had to take what they got. A fresh paint smell still lingered, faintly, under the scent of a few flowers and herbs that had been borrowed from the rooftop greenhouse. Several tables were set up around the room; none of them matched, but all had been carefully restored and cleaned up. Similarly, the two sofas in the room had been acquired by a few buildings nearby that had been abandoned. There was a place in the corner for a piano; Tamaki, unfortunately, had his mind set on finding one.
It was a music room, after all.
There was a cart out of plain sight with food: sweet and savory pastries, donated, "borrowed" or collected, and a cracked teapot with warm water -- Tamaki had never seen tea that came already in bags, but the convenience and ingenuity of the commonfolk once again astounded him! A few of the roses that had appeared mysteriously during the night were placed in a vase on the nearest table, and the Host Club had finished their preparations in their entireity. Even the clothing had been well-chosen -- suits of a deep burgundy color that seemed to cater to the feel of their theme: Valentines Day itself.
After the initial moment of shock at such an otherworldly room wore off, came the greeting for all new guests, somehow carefully choreographed but at the same time maintaining a feel of effortlessness. "Welcome!"
((HOW IT WORKS: as guests post their introductions, they'll be greeted by a host. each thread is an individual interaction ♥))
