Summary: Two friends share battle scars over some drinks. Or something like that, anyway.
the log:
Kio adjusted the unfamiliar glasses on his nose, petting Cola - who was draped lazily over his shoulder in a way that was almost a bit morbid - with his other hand. His own glasses had finally given up a few days back, the cracked lens having shattered beyond any repair that could be done in Discedo. Luckily, there had been a few spare pairs of glasses in the clinic, and he'd been able to find something relatively close to the shape and prescription of his previous pair, but nothing quite exact.
Of course, Yurio had the pair he needed-- a perfect replica of Kio's glasses, but the artist wasn't about to ask for them, and he was pretty sure that Yurio would be unwilling to give them back anyway. For now, he could live with the temporary replacement.
Scratching behind the cat's ears, Kio made sure to unlock the front door for Soubi like he said he would, and then fished a lollipop from his pocket, sticking the candy in his mouth and flicking away the wrapper. Cola chased after it, leaping down off of his shoulder to bat it around, and Kio disappeared into the kitchen to busy himself until his friend arrived, humming an upbeat tune to himself.
