Summary: There's one more person that Roxas needs to face up to after doing something without thinking-- all bets are off as to what happens from there.
the log:
Returning to the apartment that he now shared with Hayner and Axel, Roxas's heart was still heavy. The events of the past few hours had been... insane, to say the least, and now it was just going to get worse. Facing Logan and seeing how disappointed he was? Had made his heart hurt worse than anything so far today. And now...
Now he had to face Axel. If the other was even still there. The only one to blame if he wasn't would be himself, Roxas had convinced himself as he made the short trek between both apartments, hesitating as he reached the door. It was now or never, and he'd have to end up facing his friend eventually. As much as he wanted to hide him him, hide from what he'd done, he knew that in good conscience he couldn't.
Now or never. Never or now.
Swallowing the lump in his throat, he pushed the door open, trying to ignore the sense of dread that almost drowned him as he took his first step inside.
