(no subject)
Who: Soldato J-002, Alyx Vance.
Where: By the museum.
When: Right after their conversation on the communicators.
Rating: T for possible blood.
Summary: Alyx reads a strange message on the communicator from an injured person, and goes to try and help out.
the log:
The situation wasn't getting any better at all. She hardly had time to attempt to work on restoring power to the collapsed apartment building. These past few days were filled with her running here and there doing whatever she can do to try and stop people from getting seriously injured and trying to build back up.
The ashes were a big ol' problem. She used a rag she fashioned as a makeshift mask to keep the ash out of her lungs. It was attached in the back by string to leave both of her arms free and able to ward off stalking critters.
Alyx knew where the other was due to exploring the area previously. She quickly moved through the ash covered streets, SMG still in hand and her newly trademarked socket wrench hanging from her utility belt. Sure enough she discovered the odd male, covered in a light coating of ash. Was she too late? The young woman spoke, "Hello?!" unsure if he was fully conscious or not.
From what she could tell, he was partly mechanical. Good, she knew a lot more about repair than first aid, even though she was planning on taking him to the hospital anyway.
