Summary: Two surrogate siblings search for their surrogate father within the flames...only to be met with disastrous results.

Eald'narche didn't exactly approve of Xi's methods of taking him to the Hospital. He didn't approve of the giant hole in the wall she'd left, either. The building was structurally unsound; it didn't need any more damage. But at least he was here, his entrance mostly unnoticed, and now he could properly begin his search.

"Let's hurry," is the first thing that comes out of his mouth. "Abel said he was fine, but he needs out of wherever they locked him up." It went without saying that the flames only added to the danger, and thus his eagerness to get this over with. The Zilart Prince didn't need any more disasters this week.

Something nagged at the back of his mind. Something other than the fact that Abel would probably chastise him for being disobedient again. He couldn't lay a finger on it, but for the time being he brushed it aside. Only later would he find out that he should have listened to those instincts...
