Rating: PG-13 for language I guess.
Summary: Ace isn't quite of right mind just yet, but when he's flipping through the frequencies for an update he finds Nills entry. She's Nakama so he's determined to go out there, risking his life yet again, to save her if he can. Sanji refuses to let him go because he knows it'll be the death of him.
the log:
"Nill!" He cried, his voice caught, straining in his throat and becoming strangled off. He curled in on himself as he was wracked with a coughing fit. He fought through it and shifted to tuck his communicator away.
He'd tore the blanket off of him and quickly pulled himself out of the comfortable ball he'd been resting in. He staggered, teetering on his feet and trying to fight through standing up too fast. He shook his head in hopes to gain focus, trying his damnedest to clear his head. He had to go out there! He had to get to Nill before it was too late! If anyone could save her it'd be him! He couldn't let her die.
He pushed through the ache of his limbs and the lack of energy, ignoring how his arms and legs felt like lead. He shuddered softly, swaying as he made a break for the door, catching himself and leaning on the bar. It was just a labor to get his body to work, this would be difficult, but he'd make it somehow. He had to.
