Who:

Where: The Northern Lights
When: April 1st at 4:30ish? Shortly after he arrived.
Rating: PG-13 forlanguage, suggestive themes, Pirates
Summary: Shinji offered Ace a few drinks at the Lights, without a second thought the man accepted and it's a rare thing for the blond NOT to be in the kitchen.
the log:
Ace had made his way down the unmarked road from where he'd first appeared. He remembered walking it a few times though it was fuzzy at best. His mind was racing, swimming with memories he hadn't had just a few moments prior. It was dizzying, disorienting and he certainly wasn't thinking 100% clear. He remembered the Lights, how could he possibly forget? And he remember Shinji and knew that Sanji worked there too, but it hadn't crossed his mind to grab a shirt or something before walking in.
He was too busy fussing with his communicator, looking all too much like a teenager with a cellphone. His brow was furrowed softly in concern, replaying some of what Crocodile was saying to him. What did that mean? He gave his response then pocketed the communicator, making his way into the bar.
Ace looked the picture of perfect health despite how his voice sounded a little froggy. That was, all except for the sizable scar low on his sternum. The skin looked freshly marred, burned by the looks of it and torn at one point. The scientists had done well to heal it. If one were to walk around behind him, they'd see most of his tattoo was destroyed by a larger version of the scar. Only a small portion of ink peeked out here or there where the branches of his Manji once were.
He still managed a small smile for Shinji when he saw him at the bar, two glasses ready. He made himself comfortable.
He cleared his throat a little before speaking. "Fancy seeing you here stranger."
