Quite frankly, the setting, the timing, the location, none of this matters. And neither does a legit IC excuse for any of this to happen, because

a) This is Hetalia, bitch.
b) This is further Denmark, who has never believed in logic and doing things that make sense in his life.
and most importantly c) Oh my God I get to log with Linda again eeeeee.
...also d) Apparently, Prussia can break the fourth wall in canon, so dammit, so can I. Have a problem with that? Of course you don't.

But anyway, under the flimsy IC reasons that Denmark wanted to kick Prus—Teutonic Order in the face, which was now easier than ever because Teuton is a tiny, tiny child, and also because the Prusso-Danish Empire was never formally dissolved—mostly the kicking in the face thing—Denmark went looking for the baby Order soon after yelling with him over the network.
