Summary: After this, and because other people need cheering up too! Pearl and Hanyuuattempt to bake strawberry cakes and deliver them to people. Don't sugar-crash.
the log:
She'd looked around the entire apartment for ingredients, but most things seemed to be either in cans, or inedible. It was mostly luck that Pearl found a small bag of flour. ...It looked like flour, anyway, even if there were very slight tinges of green on the edge of the bag. Those bits would probably have to be picked out, and she wouldn't ever want someone to get sick from that. But besides that, Pearl found that the oven didn't even work. It was going to be a problem baking, unless they made an open fire or someone fixed the oven.
"Um, Hanyuu?" Pearl called, reaching up to put the questionable bag of flour on the counter. "Do you think we have enough to make cakes for everyone...?"
