Summary: Open log for those working on the new apartment building to loiter, get CR, be harassed by the foreman, or otherwise pretend to work!
the log: It is snowing. Even insulated, the apartments have no heat and no electricity yet. Under other circumstances, Denmark might call the whole thing off for the day, but they're behind schedule as it is. So he sent out the alert that today was a work day, and showed up himself at 7 AM on the dot.
On the outside, the apartment building looks the same as ever—almost. Windows have been replaced, the walls have been patched. Still, it's the inside that's impressive. Smelling of sawdust and paint, a framework of a working apartment building is taking place. The materials were all salvaged from other buildings in the city, but even if it's not new, it's been prepared and cleaned and—most importantly—is all strong and sturdy. The floors are in place, and stairs: the framework for the second and third floors is in place, the insulation being finished up. The first two of the eight apartments on the first floor are nearing basic completion—all the walls and doors in place, but with no paint and floors in need of buffering, wires hanging loose and stacks of supplies shoved here and there.
Still. After months of hard work, the building is finally starting to actually resemble its ultimate design, something everyone can be proud of.
