Summary: Ran and Heiji patrol together, the morning after the mysterious pills arrive. She's trying to decide what to do with it, but finding it hard to focus.
The Log:
Ran had taken the pill with her that morning--and the water bottle, too, though she's not sure what she's planning to do with it; especially not when she's got patrols to worry about. She'd been putting it off for a while, trying to decide whether the note that came with the pill and the water is trustworthy--and what 'the storm' even means. She hadn't come to a decision yet, but it's getting harder and harder to concentrate on it.
Everything looks more delicious to her. She doesn't know if it's because she really hasn't been eating as much here on Fortuna, or if this is the influence of the scientists again, but it's starting to affect how she sees people...
...even someone like Heiji. That's right; they'd agreed to do this patrol together, hadn't they? She shakes her head, trying to keep up with him once more. She doesn't say anything right away, for fear that her strange urges might worsen...
