Mm! [ she nods in turn, with an energetic sound of agreement. really, nothing sets her heart more aflutter than when yukki himself tries to do something for her— he had absolutely no obligation to, since she'd sworn to do everything for him regardless. the fact that he could actually come to like her gives her an indescribable feeling of happiness— it's almost like a spasm and she'll get all blushy and shaky and teary-eyed and make these kawaii noises... ]

A chip? [ the notion of such a thing grabs her attention away from her Feelings, however, and grabs her focus. ]

So we can get them removed? Let's get them removed, Yukki!

[ he probably should have seen this coming but at the same time it's yukiteru of all people so he didn't quite realise it was coming until just now, and for a moment he looks surprised since it means people will poke around inside their bodies he is not sure if he is Okay with that. but then again, to get his diary back it would be worth it, and yuno would insist either way, so..

he puts his hands on her shoulders, trying to seem somewhat manly and reassuring even if he doesn't quite manage it, and tries to smile a little. ]

We will, Yuno. Let's make sure to wait a bit first though, okay? You should get used to this place first, and.. as long as you don't go out alone, it's never too dangerous..

Ah— [ Not Sure If Yukki's Being A Wimp Or Serious . . . squints.

was there an advantage to waiting for their diaries to become functional again? other than the fact that she was unfamiliar with the place...she's not sure how familiar yukki is, but... they'd need to find a trustworthy doctor.

she wonders if she could cut out the chips herself— then again, she had no idea where they were located... ]

That makes sense. We shouldn't wait too long, though— our diaries are important. [ important, very important— probably moreso to yuno than yukki, since she was basically embedded into the game now. this was her second round, whereas it was yukki's first— she couldn't turn back, and she couldn't lose...and she needed her diary to win. or rather, diaries. ]

I know, I know.. [ he smiles again, even if there's a hint of something unsure in it but that's just his permanent expression pretty much. ]

We'll do it as soon as we can later, okay? [ isn't that in itself contrary.. but yes, he does want his diary back too, especially with the monster attacks it could predict at least a bit more. ] For now, I'm just really glad to see you.

[ he figures that should be enough to maybe.. distract her from that point slightly.. ]

Aa...okay, Yukki! [ she smiles at that as well, except hers has a hint of Love Is Blind. technically it isn't very hard to distract her if there isn't any immediate danger— especially if it's yukki doing the distracting, so just like that her yukidere breaks through. it goes without saying that she loves him a lot, but when he returns that affection at even just a fraction she gets overexcited— she doesn't think twice over whether or not he's being sincere; since she's happier simply believing he is— and if he lied to her to make her happy, then that would be fine, right? it meant he really cared! such is the mind of yuno gasai. ]

You have a place here, right? [ still gripping her katana in one hand, she uses her free hand to take hold yukki's, interlacing her fingers with his. ] Let's go, Yukki..!

[ 'i'll protect you.' ]

[ it's.. well, strange, definitely strange, to be standing there holding hands with your girlfriend while she's holding a deadly weapon in her other hand, but that is just part of his life by now.

so instead of finding it weird enough to frown at it, he gives her a small nod and does smile. ]

Yeah, I'll show you, Yuno. Let's go together. [ maybe not to see the starts like he wanted to, but this is close enough, just being here with her like this even if she doesn't remember as much as he does.. that's fine with him.

and so they walked off and had kawaii times for the duration of their stay in discedo, THE END. ]
