Time for an adventure! [Pet Regain Plot Log]

Who: Everyone who signed up for Pet Plot
Where: Dissimulo, the road to and at the paper factory
When: All day Sunday (Backdated)
Rating: PG for now, could go up later?
Summary: Scientists have pets. People want them. Time for a road trip!
The Log:

Sunday morning comes and it's time to set out for this paper factory Kain wants everyone to go see. After his intial post on the network, Adam contacted those who were still interested in going with the time and place to meet up: outside Dissimulo's entrance bright and early that morning.

Well...time to get started then.

(OOC: I will be making separate threads for each part of the trip. Go ahead and leave your comments in those.)

So, that came with you. I see. I only wish more advance techology was available here but then I never planned on coming here either. This accusative place!

[Pause]

Exactly what information have you all gathered?
crabbygenius: (Close up smiley)

[personal profile] crabbygenius 2012-01-30 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
You could say that~. I wouldn't mind access to my lab again. Though I'm just going to make due with rebuilding what I can.

As for the information gathered~, Well that depends on what you want to know.

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-01-30 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
[Denzel continues to look at Little Washu and wondering how the hell she can be so happy] Your lab? [His eyes narrow] Do you believe in magic?
crabbygenius: (Goddess)

[personal profile] crabbygenius 2012-01-30 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
[When you get her age, most things amuse her.]

Yes~.I was rather fond of it and I had just got all five planets reorganized before arriving here.

[At his next question she frowns.]

..Magic? I am a scientist. As a scientist I understand that there are certain rules that govern the universe. However, I also know those rules can be bent.

So, no I don't. But~ to the untrained eye I can see where someone might think magic exists.

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-01-30 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
[Denzel almost immediately tunes her out and looks away]

Magic may not exist here on it's own. However, that doesn't mean that none of us couldn't have magic from where we came from! [Though he wasn't exactly sure what to make of those trees with faces. Strange yes, but he didn't smell any magic either. Maybe they're a type of monster?]

Might think magic exists? [Opens his mouth to say something but then closes] You know what I'm not even going to go there. [And turns to walk away, stop him?]

crabbygenius: (I created her.)

[personal profile] crabbygenius 2012-01-30 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
[She just might. Washu shakes her head and snaps her fingers. A potted plant falls out of the sky in front of Denzel and smashes into the ground.]

Yes, might. Now tell me~. Was that magic or science?

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-01-30 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Wide eyed and flinching back and yelps a little] EGAD! Where the fuck did that come from? [Looking up at the sky] Must had been fairies! [Though that was such a default tick but that did appear out of nowhere]

[Pause. Crap. He didn't want to answer her question at least not directly as he was speculating. Which he was being a hippocratic for completely but then again he didn't want to go back to 1982 now]

Well, that was - [Magic of some kind]

[personal profile] crabbygenius 2012-01-30 05:46 am (UTC)(link)
[The comment about fairies gained a raised eyebrow and an amused look from the petite red-head.]

That was teleporting a potted plant from my workshop to appear in the air in front of you and letting gravity take its course. For me, it is pure science.

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-01-30 04:09 pm (UTC)(link)
One could argue that space is pressing down on us and there is no 'gravity' at all but that's besides the point! [Something called E=MC2]

As far as 'teleporting' where I come from normal people don't have that capability. [Denzel eyes her wondering this is was a pointless battle that he could not win]

[personal profile] crabbygenius 2012-01-30 06:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Really~? Then I guess it's a good thing I'm not from Earth.

[She just smiles as she stands there with her hands behind her back. Lets see if he can figure out that bit of the puzzle.]

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-01-31 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
Another universe? Yeah, I figured that out when finding out where we where and having been told people where 'snatched' from places. Another times? Another places? [Pause] There's that and I already have subscribed to the theory of other worlds and universes. AND HERE I AM! [Twitch twitch]

However, what you call 'teleporting' I call - MAGIC!
crabbygenius: (Goddess)

[personal profile] crabbygenius 2012-01-31 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
[Twitch. He called one of the most basic forms of transportation she had available, magic.]

Yes, I am from another universe. Yes, I am from another planet. But magical I am certainly not.

[Seconds later she shoves one of the holographic screens in his face with a rather complex equation that takes up the entire screen.]

By using the principals of this equation and my own energy output I am able to link one point in space to another effectively creating a temporary 'wormhole' to join the two points and step through or transport one object from point A to point B. I merely simplified the terminology so a simple Earthling could comprehend it.

[The moment he looks away and looks back, Washu goes from a 'child' to a very obvious Adult with a rather annoyed look on her face.]

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-01-31 10:44 pm (UTC)(link)
[Denzel looks at the holographic screen. Which they wheren't unfortunately Earthling binomials so he couldn't understand the equations. Maybe parts of them]

[Denzel therefore proceeds to laugh like a crazy person as he puts a hand on his forehead. What she had just describled was just like something he would do. Exepect with magic. However - she mentioned her own energy.]

[Before giving her a glare behind his glasses. Crazy, yes. Subborn, yes. Baised, yes. But stupid he was not.]

I know what a wormhole is. I have a P.H.D. in Physics. In fact, I knew the very person whom came up with the theory of wormholes. Professor Stephen - HAWKINGS! [Crocker's blood was boiling] But that's a useless name to you. That is unless the satelite that was set out from - EARTH! [Slight twitch] Got to your planet... Assuming your Earth in your universe set out a satelite with data about the life on the planet.

Your energy? Do explain.
[Before taking a double take and staring at her magical transformation]
crabbygenius: (Goddess)

[personal profile] crabbygenius 2012-02-01 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
Stephen Hawkings is brilliant for an Earthling. However~ I've been doing this for longer than your species has grasped the concept of the base principles of science.

As for that cute little satelite,We didn't need it to know there was life on Earth. Your planet has been under the protection of the Juraian Empire for centuries. It's really quite the vacation spot~.

[She pauses and crosses her arms. Did she really want to explain this? No, not really.]

Simple, I am not human. Do you really think every humanoid species has the same adaptations as those on Earth? I've always had massive amounts of energy at my fingertips.

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-02-01 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Grumble grumle and mummurs] Well, I'm smarter then he'll ever be. [No bitter rivalry here] Just because he got the Noble Peace Prize and I DIDN'T DOESN'T MEAN I'M ANY LESS THEN HE IS!

Unless, in your true form you're actually a green octopus with a brain enclosed in a space helmet, then where the heck were you?! Let me answer that for you in another alternate universe that isn't yours. Which leaves limitless possiblies!

Gee, that takes a rocket scientist to figure that out. [Pause and adding] Speaking of which that was sarcasm. [Pause] Well, no. [Another pause] But apparently, you don't care to explain. No, you don't.
crabbygenius: (SIGH. idiots.)

[personal profile] crabbygenius 2012-02-01 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
[She pauses once more and raises an eyebrow.]

Are you always this excitable?

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-02-04 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Dr.Hayward does tell me to stop scaring the - PRINNIES! [slight spazz]

Not as if I try.
crabbygenius: (SIGH. idiots.)

[personal profile] crabbygenius 2012-02-07 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
...He must love the explosions.

[personal profile] crackpotcrocker 2012-02-20 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
More like those follow him for some reason. Never did tell me why. But he has managed to tame them, yes.
